Headed out for a few hours fishing on Monday. Unfortunately, we started out late and only got to the river about noon and it was hot hot hot. I thought the warm weather would put the fish down on the bottom but it wasn't the case. Had a very good afternoon with a few larger than normal (for me) fish. In total I landed about 15 fish for about three hours fishing and lost a few others. I broke in one fish that caught me completely by surprise, I cast into what looked about six inch of water and a larger fish lunged forward and that was the end of that nymph.

A good day and looking forward to heading back, next weekend it is the small trout of the Rubicon river.

Regards,

Denis

Those are some nice fish, didn't think they were that big around there.
