It's interesting this topic made it all the way to the NY Times!

PS: I haven't been fly fishing in ages because I'm working with an ecology grad student on NZMS research at Putah. She recently presented a poster of our research at an ecology conference (below). Maybe I'll get out eventually...

Vince..... glad to hear you are alive..... as to the no fishing excuses disbelief not sure if that is a good enough excuse. There is a theory about that your "work" is more attractive than fishingwink

Work more attractive than fishing? What have you been smoking?

The research is wrapping up (Mara and I are writing the journal article about Putah musdnails currently) and work is slowing down. Maybe there's hope I'll go fishing soon... Hell, soon enough I'll have the bucks to spring for a car and I'll pay you back for the lifts you've given me!

May your lines be tight!
Vince
