The Speyfool strikes again!!! I guess I should get out the spey rod and tie on a new fly for tomorrow. It is cross between a san juan worm and a fox poopah with a soft hackle.
Don't be afraid to use hoppers. Attack the seamlines and the banks. I have been doing well with #8 brown and tan Fat Albert and a few other foam hoppers. I have not thrown a nymph or a streamer on the Yuba for two weeks.
Agood day was had by all seems like the fishing really picked up when I left after lunch........ Starting to think I am a bit of a fishing hex after my trip to Trickee with Bob????
Anyway thanks once agian to Steve and the rest of the PCT crew for putting on a great day out for all of us!!
