Hello everyone,
  Im hoping the good folks from Putah Creek will join us for what's stacking up to be a great event. Cast Hope is a non profit company that  gets involved and helps make an impact on the lives of others. Fundraisers like the one we are holding at Lelands Fly Fishing Ranch are a great way for others to get involved and help support the needed work we do for others.
  Cast Hope gives all of us a chance to help others through the sport we all love.I cant thank all the sponsors and good people who have help get us this far. Please join us and bring the family and friends .

I for one am planning to attend this event and encourage everyone else who participates on the board to consider doing the same. It's being held at an awesome venue and features some great raffle/auction items like guided trips, rods, reels, gear, & wine.

For those of you unfamiliar with Cast Hope they are a non-profit org whose aim is to spread the love of fly fishing by offering free guided trips on the Lower Sac, the Feather, the Yuba, and Trinity rivers for those who would otherwise not be able to enjoy it. I can't think of a better organization to support!

I look forward to seeing many of you there. And remember, if you can't be there in person you can always make a direct donation via their website.

We are gettting excited for Cast Hope's 1st  Annual Benefit and Auction on May 22, 2010 at the Leland Sonoma Fly Fishing Ranch. I have attached a postcard with all of the event information.
 
The big news is that I just finished updating the website with all of the major auction & raffle items. Below is a taste of some of the stuff that we have for you to bid on. The best part of all of this is that you do not have to be present to bid on items and buy raffle tickets. Go to www.casthope.org/events/auctions to bid on Auction Items and buy Raffle Tickets. The Lodge at Palisades Creek in Irwin, ID has been nice enough to donate 1 Night of Lodging and 2 Days of guided fly fishing for our 1st Annual Benefit. This is a great Auction Item and an opportunity to stay at a high end lodge and throw big dry flies against the banks of the South Fork. Today my board members and I went out to the Leland Ranch for our final walk through before the 1st annual benefit. Lelands is doing some great work to the place. They have a new deck going in and the renovated barn is now empty for our use. This is going to be an awesome venue for Cast Hope. I hope you guys are able to come and make it.

I have also updated a few of the auction bids. The big news is that Slims guided fly fishing trip on the Trinity is now up to $525. That guy is in demand. Still plenty of other items to get in on. Including a guided striper trip with Mike Costello.

Cast Hope's 1st Annual Benefit and Auction is almost here! The event is only 2 days away. This Saturday from 3-7PM we are going to be hanging out and having some fun as we raise money to get youth fly fishing. More info attached or online. If you don't have plans for the weekend then come to the Leland Sonoma Fly Fishing Ranch for a couple of hours or the whole afternoon. Below you can find the Schedule of Events for the day.
