Its going to be prime time to hit the Trinity next week, not only with the fresh rains, but there is a lot of fish throughout the system. Right now there are a few of us going and would like to get a few more to go as well. We will be splitting all costs from gas to food, including the house we will be staying in for the night. That cost 150 a night and can accomodate a small fly fishing army. We will be leaving early March 4th which is a thrusday, drive 4 hours and hittin the water hard all day, then gettin to our house unpacking and probably walking across the street from some good burgers and brew, then walking back home to crash for the night and then doing it all over again the next day. This will be a great opportunity for anyone, whether new at fly fishing or not. So the more the marrier. If you are interested pm me as soon as possible or call me to let me know. as of right now we are taking up 2 cars, but hoping to get a 3rd car so we can have 6 to 7 people total. right now there are 3 going for sure, and a few tentative people. If interested i would need to know asap, we will be making reservations by the end of the weekend. if we get 6 people to do this trip spending cost should be somewhere around 70 or 80 bucks total.

Well after these rains as well as the ones coming next week, the trinity trip will be held off for a few weeks, which is kinda good. so if someone wants to go, atleast now its not last minute. it will still be a thursday friday but probably in a couple of weeks.

Well flows have dropped so i would say in 2 weeks we will plan this trip again, i will keep you all posted.
I will be making a day trip to the trinity tomorrow. I have been hearing good reports throughout the river. anything about douglas city is flowing under 1000cfs, up near lewiston its around 300cfs.
