Hit the American this morning. Fished at Watt ave, only two other fisherman showed up at about 11:00am to play in the rain with me for zilch. I saw 3 fish zero grabs. About noon I took a trip up to the hatchery and the diversion gate is removed so the fish can go all the way to the dam, but the gate at the bottom of the fish ladder was closed. At the top of the fish ladder it is shoulder to  shoulder Rainbows. I was trying to see how many wild fish I could pick out, they all looked like hatchery fish.I guess they have enough fish holding?
Took a run up to Sailor Bar to see how many fisherman, saw one. There was only ten people fishing in the combat zone at Nimbis dam. I asked around and one guy picked up a 24 incher. And the guy that told me this said the guy snaged em.
Everything looked good accecpt the end of my line. O well maybe next time.

flows are the same, but there are a few canals that come in throughout the river that u need to keep a close eye on. the farther down u get from the damn the cloudier it will be. i was out yesterday and the clearity was pretty good. definitely a difference between the water below sailor bar as above it. but fyi u find those canals that dump fresh rain water into the AR there are fish there. fish the heck out of them. ill be out there tomorrow the next day as well as friday, who knows maybe even the weekend to. but if not i will be back out there with my boy bigokie on monday.
