I was on the creek yesterday and as nice as the new regs are, all of the old regs are still posted. I was thinking perhaps it would be nice if we could somehow partner up with DFG to get the old regs taken down and post the new regs.
You can't really blame somebody for not knowing the new regs if the old regs are still posted on the creek.
The new regs will not become effective until March 2010. So the regs as posted are in fact the current regulations for Putah Creek until that date!!!! The new regulations only become different from existing regulations on the first Sunday in April 2010. I ensure that the new regulations will be posted far in advance of that date.
