Thats a poor display of catch and release they didnt even help the fish breathe again they just let it go.....

ya it's hard to catch and release in a timely manner  the big one I caught on a san juan worm took me probably close to 2 minutes to get back in the water and then I ended up dropping him you could tell he was stunned  it's hard to do . I have had this discussion with bob from sweeneys and he puts it this way . when you take the trout out of the water hold you'r breath that's an eye opener when you think about it that way.And I think it's probably pretty accurate , I am going to try to work on it . maybe try to take one less picture. although when we volunteered with the dfg and did the audit of putah creek I saw some fish out of the water longer than I can hold my breath they were letting us take picks before they let them go and that big one by the bridge just layed in the weed bed for a while until alistair moved it out to where there was some current . makes me wonder!
