dont know if anyone has had their vehicle broken into on the american recently or maybe even this yr but here is a link to possibly gettin your items back. sorry that its is only going on today, just looked at another website and saw it so figured id post it.

Hey Brian-I recently learned that the DFG is bringing back the Auxiliary Warden program. When you get into the Highway Patrol, you will be eligible-if you are still interested in being a Warden. DFG is supposed to post the details in  January. Its a volunteer position I believe, but they give you training in exchange for your time in the field. A good way to give back.
