Yesterday Richard, Sarah, and I headed out for a quick morning outing. I had great luck in hooking 8 or so fish, but horrible luck bringing them in. The normal spots with the normal techniques were slow (probably from pressure this week), but some high-sticking with no dropper and a lot of weight produced a good amount of strikes in some deep short runs.
Richard and Sarah started slamming them towards the end. There's a good amount of trout all over the place; I was even standing in a tree at one point, and still hooking them.
Attached is a nice 12 or so incher that I caught when Richard and I ran into Steve.
