Sorry I missed everyone on Saturday, I had to work in the morning and thought I had no chance of heading up there but I finished my job a little early and at around 10am with my youngest son we headed to our ranch on the creek. We went to our usual areas between access 3 and 4 on the back side of the creek with the atv and found (for the first time ever) absolutely nothing!! I guess thats a good thing. Bono

Trash was light this year along the creek. Largest items we recovered were a two man raft and a hot tub cover. Even the love rugs were missing. Yukon Mike and Fischbones found a small marijuana patch that Yonet was removing yesterday. Most unusual was a baby grand piano found below Winters according to Leftylibby. Our group collected about 70 lbs of trash and 30 lbs of recyclables

Special thanks to Yukon, CJ, Blackcloud, Leicafish, for leading groups and Otter for the BBQ that followed. Altogether we had 17 volunteers-thanks to all for braving the heat. And special thanks to Taki who came all the way from Japan. He's a former client of Bono's and wanted to give something back to the Creek-now thats committment!

On sunday while listening to a news report about the coastal cleanups in the bay area they said a baby grand piano was found in Yolo county.

I knew it had to putah. biggrin
