Rainbows in Winters

Took my nephews out to the creek in Winters and found a beautiful little spot with clear water, gravel and sand bottom and riffles.  I was totally surprised when they pulled out a couple trout, one on a spinner and another in deep slow water on a bass lure.  An 11 incher and a 13 incher.  Any of you guys ever fish the creek below lake solano/ diversion dam?

Yes. You will be surprised what you might find down there, I know there is  smallmouth, largemouth, rainbow and brown trout, A steelhead run, A very small salmon run, Huge carp, And panfish. Unfortenatly it seems to me that access has become a bit tough due to pvt. property and no parking signs these days.  I havent fished there much in recent years  but wouldn't mind giving it a go. If anyone wants to take some float tubes out around winters shoot me a message. Does anyone know if you can still access the creek at stevensons bridge near dixon ? Good bass spot.

I have done quite a bit of survey work and fishing from Diversion dam down to Davis. Tough access due to private property and the only trout I ever caught have been from diversion dam downstream about 1 mile and not very many at that.
