Fished putah from 3pm to 5pm today.Did a quick loop at access #5...Gone are the days when you could fish the front side of #5 and be in to double digits before you started on the back half...Back side of the split was fishing well as it almost always does.caught 2 fish on some jumbo sizes brassie looking thing Otter tied in the dark after too many cold ones...then I lost it...Get your drink on and tie me up some more..make them good and ugly like the last one.

Thats pretty funny. I think maybe you have just lost your touch. If you talk to the fish more they will bite on that knotted up ball of yarn you call a fly. There are suckers in there you know.

That is no jumbo Brassie. It is a John Barr G Caddis with red V rib. JT told me to tie some up, and they have worked well. Red brassies are my number one fly on the creek though. I will tie you up a few if you finish my seat. Need to get out there and throw around some dirt.

Did they have a holographic butt section? I just ordered some v-rib to tie some of these up.

 Hey Vince,
Ask Otter. He knows how to tie them' I only know how to loose them.....
After I lost it' I used a red copper john and caught a few more fish on that...a couple on a #16 s&m and a few on a JUMBO#12 micro may...
