Putah class/trip fund raiser SIGN UP's

MX 19 and myself are going to hold a half day guide trip/class on putah creek, but first we must find out who is interested and how many. The cost will be a minimum "donation" of 50.00 and all of the proceeds go to our PCT group (non profit). The class can be split up in two parts if we have a mixed bag of anglers with different skill levels. Or if everyone is on the same level we all may do this together and that will also depend on how many people as well. I can assemble more guides if we get too many people for me and Steve to handle,we want to make sure everyone gets their moneys worth. This will be a great way for us to raise some funds for Putah and our projects. Those of you interested may just respond to this post so we can get a head count. No date has been set yet but we're thinking sometime within a month and probably a Saturday. anyone can call me direct if you would like. 707-480-3809 thanks Greg

Me too. Unless I get the dreaded work virus - here's breaking news from one of my actuaries in Des Moines, Iowa:

Subject: CDC Warning

The Center for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted orally, by hand, and even electronically. This virus is called Weekly Overload Recreational Killer (WORK). If you receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues or anyone else via any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT!!! This virus will wipe out your private life entirely. If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave the premises.
Take two good friends to the nearest liquor store and purchase one or both of the antidotes - Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) and Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.
You should immediately forward this medical alert to five friends. If you do not have five friends, you have already been infected, and WORK is controlling your life.

I will definately try to be there. I get back form Australia on the 25th of May and will call Greg to confirm. Would it be OK to bring my Dad along, he will be visiting from South Africa???

Cheers

And you say you have no talent...only good at picking up trash. If this keeps up, you are going to have to rent a tour bus...a big one!

MX19 and Bono:  I replied earlier to say that I'd join you, but I am sorry to say that work obligations are forcing me to cancel.  Sorry 'bout that.  I am sure it will be a great time.

I'm sorry to say that I wont be able to make the class. I'll be headed back to the Eastern Sierra to do some fishing of my own for a week.

Keep me informed of the class as well. What is the cost?? You can contact me at bluejayrover@yahoo.com.

I am an intermediate and live in Vallejo and had no luck at Pytah so I would like to learn from some locals and improve my skills at the same time!

Damn, I'd love to do that and the June 6th Yuba trip but as Hardwood stated earlier, I've not only contracted "W.O.R.K." but the ever present, silent killer, "W.I.F.E.". Women Interfering Fishing Excursions, the only type of coverage comes from lawyers, and I can't afford that cure, so it's cheaper to die. Still things could be worst, I could also have the K.I.D.S.!!!!!!!!

Is anyone heading from Davis to the Putah class?  I'd be happy to contribute money for gas expenses as well as a dozen hand tied flies smile.gif.
