The cheapest net's I've seen are at Sport's Chalet in Vacaville A nice wooden catch and release (rectangular with a shallow net) net runs about $24. They had some other models as well. Sport Chalet is about a factor of 100 less knowledgeable than any fly shop, but they do have some good deals in there occasionally - probably because no one buys fly fishing stuff from them!
