I'm with JT I tend to like putah around 300 cfs. It's pretty much personal preference.

Most guys like the flow around 250 give or take....creek is easy to access and places to fish really open up...Its also one of the more crowded times of the year...I personally like the flows when they are higher,more like 500....putah creek does'nt have any secret fishing holes ,but it does have secrets....

I prefer flows of 400 and higher.

I guess I'm different because I prefer Winter flows, 45 to 75 CFS.� Historically, I have caught more fish with a variety of sizes during these flows.� As a second choice I like flows around 400 CFS.� Once the flows get above 550 CFS, I have trouble accessing certain areas and my success rate becomes very inconsistent.�

I like the high summer flows best b/c some water opens up that wasn't good before, and i can fish late into the evenings.

Flows are looking good for me!� 600-800 are when the big fish are caught off the spawn!� They fight much better too.
