MX 19 and myself are going to hold a half day guide trip/class on putah creek, but first we must find out who is interested and how many. The cost will be a minimum "donation" of 50.00 and all of the proceeds go to our PCT group (non profit). The class can be split up in two parts if we have a mixed bag of anglers with different skill levels. Or if everyone is on the same level we all may do this together and that will also depend on how many people as well. I can assemble more guides if we get too many people for me and Steve to handle,we want to make sure everyone gets their moneys worth. This will be a great way for us to raise some funds for Putah and our projects. Those of you interested may just respond to this post so we can get a head count. No date has been set yet but we're thinking sometime within a month and probably a Saturday. anyone can call me direct if you would like. 707-480-3809 thanks Greg.
For all of those new to putah creek this is your chance to get a half day guided trip on the creek for next to nothing. As Greg said we will be offering a half day class/trip ,but I will be sticking around for the whole day as a bonus..Reading the water, drifting, mending, casting, leader and indicator setups ,weight ajustment, fly selection and much more.Get signed up and get a jump start on mastering putah creek... mx19
Weekends are out for me, any possibility of a weekday clinic as well?

As a disinterested member of PCT, I can tell you these two gentlemen were born with fly rods in their hands. They know the creek and the techniques. IMO, this is one of those opportunities that rarely occurs for any of us and never at this cost. Those of you newer to the creek can really shorten your learning curve(s) and old timers might just pick up some new tricks.
Weekends are also rough for me. But I'll work hard to make any date that comes together!
I am also working on the PCT team. My passion for the cause exceeds my skill on the water.
I can and will scrape together a "non-deductible donation" that properly acknowledges the amazing talent, knowledge, and generousity of these two gents. Even if its just to stand in the back of class and take notes.
If the clinic overbooks I'd step out to make room for others. I wanted to acknowledge how cool it is to have this opportunity, and what a great value it is.
I need help getting my head around these flows anyway! My hats off to Greg (Bono) and Steve (MX19) ... thank you both for your generosity in doing this.
Ed J.

I am interested also. I can do most weekends or weekdays. (its great to be an online student!) I would love to start learning this creek, thanks for offering this opportunity guys.
I would like to reaffirm Lahontan's post that the fee for the class does not qualify as a tax deductable contribution to our fund raising efforts, but is a very helpful contribution to our programs (view our projects at www.putahcreektrout.com)
I would love to join in. I am out of the country until late May but if there is a way I can get back in time I will be there!!!

Hi: I have been busy lately and haven't checked in for a while. I want to let you know I'd be interested also. Looking forward to your posting of a date for this event. Sounds great. Thanks!
Bono and I have talked about a few dates....Iam waiting on him to pull the trigger...We will be doing a week day ,most likely a monday and also a weekend day...
I have yet to fish Putah Creek and would be interested. Let me know what dates you'r thinking of and i'll try and work it into my schedule. I may be on the creek for the first time next week for a 1/2 day.
As of Tuesday I'm not working, but I'm paid through July! Woo Hoo! Count me in Greg. Better stop tying, put down my beer and get a job, I guess. Never mind, this doesn't suck.
