AWESOME! ... ice fishing? Looks more like "weed" fishing! I love it. I don't think they're speaking Spanish. Is it Portuguese? I'd love to know what they're saying.
Dude, drops a 5-6" perch-like bait fish in the hole and pulls out a 30+ inch cross between a sturgeon/catfish/leopard shark...too cool.
Anybody know the fish? Really interesting...thanks for this post!

They're speaking portuguese. They are just talking about how to catch fish: dig a hole, put the small fish in the hole, pull the big fish out of the hole. Just like we would say, one guy even asked, "Are you filming?"
I lived in Brazil for a couple of years, and once I saw a guy standing in the middle of a creek during a rainstorm. He was using a throw net and catching a few catfish every time he threw it. He had a potato sack full of fish.
