Gave it a half hearted effort this morning and didn't get anything, It tends to be slow in febuary and march. I'll call it a warm up for a full day on the stan tomorrow .
Same for me. I hit the creek Friday morning, and had no luck. The conditions were good, just no takers. I did manage to gauge the water temps on the right side of my upper body and the creek is in fact cold
I was also out there Friday. Landed two and missed a couple, but overall really slow. I got one on a zebra midge and the other on a red copper john. Both were between 12"-14".
I was out yesterday and it was slow until 1:30 pm. Hooked up 3 nice fish. Landed one, got one very close to the net till a head shake at the last minute bought it a pass, and the third one was lost not long after I got a bite. Had a caddis puppah and a WD 40 as a dropper. Attached a photo of the one landed.
Logged four hours on Tuesday. Still BITELESS on Putah for the year. I know this is a tough time of year, etc,etc but it is starting to affect mysense of self. I'm OK., I'm O.K.......
