Take a fly like a Hairs Ear and use some Shimizaki Dry Shake or Frogs Fanny fly dressing. It will make your nymph catch a lot more tiny air bubbles and will make it really sparkle under water and appear like a nymph filled with a gas bubble like when they are ascending to the surface to hatch.
This is a technique that Ralph Cutter really talks about in his book Fish Food. Great book by the way and highly recommended.
