Fished the stan. today. Whats a load of crap is that a sheriiff felt that my car wasn't parked far enough off the road and the S.O.B had it towed ! Thank god there was a good sumaritan there that saw it and came down to tell me and he went way out of his way to give me a ride to sonora were I plucked down $497.00 to get me car back !!! . I tried to give this guy some money, He just said "Make sure you help somebody when they need it". What a guy ! so at that point I did what anyone would do, I hauled a$$ back to the river and got my FISH ON ! When all was said and done it probably turned out to be a 30 plus fish day .
man sorry to hear about that bro, man and i thought sheriffs where the cool ones, but i guess not. man sometimes i wonder if they understand that they are human too. way to end the day though

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
Yes so make sure your all the way off the road and facing the right direction. The sheriff was a putz. Its still unbeleivable how someone can just take your car and leave you starnded 100 miles from home, Now thats protecting and serving
Shaun, sorry to hear about your run with zero tolerance lawman. I trust that you weren't sticking out enough to block traffic, so it makes me wonder what the f#@k? I've been fishing that section of the Stan since I moved to California almost 20 years ago and have never yeard of anyone getting towed. I have seen the pile of broken glass evidence here and there where a car had been broked into, and thought that that was the only thing we had to worry about. Were you offered any explanation as to how you were parked broke the law and how you should have been parked to have avoided being boned? Thanks, VIKING
