NO NOT A GAR BUT PIKE, MEASUREMENT WAS 58" LONG AND GIRTH OF 26" WT. OVER 40LBS. FISH IN MOUTH WAS 28" IN LENGTH , WE HOOK THE SMALL ONE AT RAINY RIVER NWT. THE BIG ONE CAME FROM UNDER BOAT AND DIDN'T LET GO AS YOU CAN SEE HIM ON LAP ,
