This one took about 200 hours. I've  gotten the time down to about 120 as I usually work on  several pieces in different stages. He originally came out of the American but does look like a Trinity fish. JT I swear he was not caught on the redds.smile

Shon, I start with a solid block of Basswood. The fins are added using Tupelo or Basswood to get the fin rays the same direction as the grain of the wood.
