Just curious as to how everyone has been doing out there on the creek? Planning on possibly heading up on Friday and if anyone wants to give me some ideas on what flys have been hot it would be appreciated. Thanks everyone

Check out the flows. . .  they have been all over the place, making fishing much more difficult.

I see the flows are at about 100 cfs, which seems a little high. How do you think fishing will be around sunday with these conditions?

I can only report on my own experiences lately. For me Putah has been very inconsistant for this time of year, Some days good action, next day no action. Just work it hard and hope for a score.

i was there Fri. morning, and first roll cast on a fast drift and a beauty growled at me and took my fly with em.  WD-40 is all i was shootin all day.  Landed a 19" & 21" within 2 hrs then went home and got some ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI.

In the water Sat. am at about 6:20 and had another spectacular day.  I believe Sun will be the same.

I got a fish that was about 28 inches yesterday. Way to big for the net so I had to tail her, She slipped out of my hand while fumbling in my jacket pocket for the camera cry.  I did manage to hold it against my leg and then get a rough measurement.  I feel bad that it wasn't properly revived, It was a long hard fight in fast water on a very light 4 weight rod. Only hooked one other fish for the day. The big one hit a micro may.
