Gave putah a go at it today, Not a great day, but by no means a bad day. More people out then i thought would be, but still alot less then your typical weekend. I don't know how many fish i caught, But does it really matter ? Was a decent early morning bite, Thats seems to be a pattern for me the last few weeks, get there early and get em. No go to fly pattern, More like get the correct depth and a good drift, The putah standby's have worked well lately. Watched a guy spey casting right below the bridge in the a.m, Pretty cool, Nice hat too man. Nothin special but I figured I'd include a few pics I got before the battery died. Excuse the quality, its an 8 year old 1.3 megapixel camera. The pic just doesn't do the first one justice, Its was a bueaty.
Looks like you had a good day on putah! It definitely beats helping to make turkey dinner... Im looking to get out there this saturday or sunday so if you see someone getting skunked on crutches, come say hi!

It's much more important.
Your pretty hardcore to be out there on crutches. I was surprised today when i found a few yellow sallies at access 1 today, You don't see many of those on putah.
way to get them on turkey day. bet no one was out there. i myself fished that day as well only a 2 hours or so. fished the AR, got into 2 fish right away within 10 mins one was about 23"s the other was 16-18"s i was using 6x with a quazimodo pt due to a huge brown colored mayfly hatch, small though 16-18, the size 20 pt just wouldnt stay in those fisty guys. oh well. those was the only 2 i hooked in those 2 hours.
so ill be seeing you guys on sunday.
