We hit the Upper Sac on Saturday. Man it was cold in the AM!!!! Fishing was very slow in the early AM. Once the sun hit the water, things picked up. There was a very nice BWO hatch that brought the fish up top. Lots of risers and many takes on the surface. It was fun. There were a few October Caddis out, but not enough to make anything happen. The hatch began about 1 PM and lasted for about an hour and a half. It was the only thing that the fish consistently moved on all day. We didn't stay for the evening, so I don't know if any thing came off then.
Fish ranged from 8" to 14" and were all pretty healthy.
