This issue will be lining my daughters guinea pig cage very soon.
HA HA HA HA
NW FF kept sending me some magazines trying to get me to subscribe and finally I wrote a letter saying No Thank You, but it kind of came out like your magazine sucks and I use it for toilet paper.......just kidding! I tried to be polite.......tried, but probably failed. Oh well.
I really think we all ought to spend more time fishing then griping. I've been fishing Putah creek for over 30 years and I have to say that the number of people hasn't changed that much. In fact, some friends of mine and I fished there on the 15th of November (yes, the last day for regular anglers - we all fly fish and catch and release - only day we could all get together and go), and we saw maybe a total of a dozen people all day. Also, the creek and the trails have improved over the last 30 years due to the increased interest in the area.
I agree with the idea of designating Putah a wild trout area, and I think that would increase the interest in the area as well. Final thing to say - unless you know the stream really well, you aren't going to catch fish and have a great experience. I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth.
Catch and Release,
RW
