I'm thinking of heading up to the creek soon, and am curious what the water is looking like. If you have been out on the creek in the last couple of days, it would be great if you could provide a stream/fishing report. Thanks!
stream report, its wet, cold, vis is good, the stream is in great condition a lil dirty from the bait guys
fishing report. well go out and make one. hahaha but for real the fishing is gettin good so get out there and make your own report.

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
I was up there Sunday, the water is good. I seined some greenish midges from the water, size 18-20 WD40 looked just like em and worked fine on a dead drift under an indicator, as JT would say, "along the edges". Takes were very subtle & easy to miss.
I fished the creek yesterday (6 Oct.). The morning was a bit of combat fishing, and I spent a lot of time trying to find some decent water to fish. Eventually, the crowds dispersed though, and I settled into some good holes. The action was pretty good throughout the afternoon. I brought 15 to hand, and most of them were natives. Fish ranged between 10 and 14 inches. A friend, who was trying fly-fishing for the first time, landed a beautiful 17" wild bow. This fish came up and slammed his nymphs on the surface as they were swinging in the current and then he managed to land the fish after a very intense battle. It turned out to be a great day!
