MX - you may have been in there a month, but you didn't do a good job of tiring the fish out. In 2 hours or so, I just killed it today.
All fat natives today. 13-15 inches average. Nothing bigger than that - but man are those fish zippy. Couple I hooked did 360s around me hopping out of the water the whole time. I love those natives. Their shoulders are so thick.
Many of the larger ones today are sasquatches in training.... little bros of the monster that Otter caught the other day.
I tried to keep count. at least 25 confirmed hookups. maybe 15 to hand?
Many were hook, leap out of the water, and come unbuttoned.
