It was second day on putah. I got to the bridge at around 8:00 and it was pretty packed. I managed to land a few stockers, but then i moved down stream to see if i could catch some wild fish. there i fished some deep pools and caught about 8 fish in a couple hours, all wild 8-12 in. Then i moved down to the split where i hooked a pretty nice fish, probably around 18, but he bent the hook just a couple feet from the net. I fished a brown foxys and a copper john most of the day and caught fish on both. The flows have dropped noticeably since i went two weeks ago. Ill be up there again this sunday.
