Thanks she hit a 16 mm. And Shon got her from shore or wading for that matter. too hot for tubin had to do some wet wading it feels nice in that cold water on a hot day. I almost went for a swim for the fun of it. But found some shade and chilled instead.
After seeing matts pic I figured i'd give putah a try on saturday. Caught quit a few small wild guys around 8 to 10 inchers and 3 planters in one hole near #5. tan caddis pupah worked well. The big surprise for me was when in midday I was messing around with a stimulator and actually got 2 rises, I missed em both.
Packrat they're not spawning but just starting to change a little. The girls do look like they're ready to spew eggs though, I've been trippin off that the past couple weeks.
Hey Coffeen, The only secret is to get a really good drift. If you saw others catching fish that's good that's one way of learning about fishy areas. Going out and exploring the creek is alot of fun. Dont worry the creek kicks everyone's butt especially in the begining.
Thanks Matt. I had a feeling that would happen to me. Mabye next time I will l land a couple. I actually did see a nice spot, but now I know how to fish it better and the what tecnique to use. Thanks to this forum.
