these 2 pics are from the adventure black cloud and I had in Silver lake area. both caught on a elk hair caddis that i tied.
these 3 pics are of AC22 aka alex. his first day steelhead fishing with me and he landed 2 that day, with several other hook ups.
these 5 pics are of some steelhead that i caught on the AR. hey BLACK CLOUD this first pic is the fish i was telling you about, with the color, the lines, the size, just the over all beauty of the fish. i think it would be a perfect canidate for your carvings. i have a spare pic if you would like it. or of any of these fish.
these 5 pics are of some fish i caught on the yuba. The first 2 is of my first trout caught on a dry fly.
this pic is of my first lower sac trip, and one of the fish i caught that day.
these 2 are of some cutt bows caught in a nice lil creek in the sierras area that i will not name but it has very nice sized cutt bows in it in it. i noticed on most of the bigger fish i caught in this lil creek that the fish were either blind or the eyes were bleeding. anyone know why. cant wait to hit it up next spring.
these are just 2 random pics but very nice ones. i was on the way home on the bike trail along the AR when i heard some clucks and i knew it was some hen turkeys, so i followed the noise a lil bit and came upon a this nice big bearded tom turkey in full strut and his ladies, the first pic is about 30yrd away but the second is only 10yrds at most (all pics are from a disposable) and when i got this close the tom started to become very territorial about his ladies and started to get in the charge mode so i slowly backed away. but for about 15mins i just sat back and watched them do there thing. it was a very beautiful site.
hope you enjoy. brian

no braggin, just posting pics. if i had a dig they would be up right way, but because i had a disp camera i finally finished the roll, and i am puttin them up now.
you love those neos dont you. i should have a my breathables soon as well as a new pair of boots too.
windnots the pic of me with the fish with the big kype is actually a steelhead that i caught on the american river this early spring. he hit a black articulated egg sucking leech like a ton of bricks. i wasnt read for him when he hit, i was looking away and almost lost my rod to him. he was a great fight. i thought i was gonna loose him because he got in that lower section just below me in the pic, the farther to the left he went the faster the current. but i keep steady pressure on him and i finally managed to land him in the frog looking water below me on the right hand side of the pic. thats one fish i will remember for a life time. whats funny is i hooked him 2 more times after that in 2 different spots with 2 different flys. one with a black bushy wooly bugger, and one with a purple egg sucking leech.

Very nice Brian. The 6th one down with the kype is a bueaty of a buck. HaHA, I do beleive I know that spot with ac22 holding a fish. Even if it is a brag post who cares(which i dont beleive it is), dam right we all have a right to brag once in awhile. Nothin wrong with posting some pics. Just one thing........I don't see any browns or brookies in there . Hey now the neoprne comment could have been done without, we all just wanna get out there and have fun no matter what gear one chooses to use and or wear.
hey shaun you know i dont care what i wear or how i look as long as i am warm and dry and catching fish. everything that i have right now are hand me downs, thanks to all of you who have helped me get where i am today with equipment, flys, waders, boots, wading neo socks, gravel guards, fly line, fly tying bench, pontoon boat, and all those littles things too. i wouldnt be where i am today if i didnt have that stuff. you know who you are, and there is a long list.
I THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Brian

As I'm sitting at home on the computer, sipping a cold one, and reading your post (while it's a nice 90 degree evening) . . . I couldn't help but notice that you're wearing neopreme waders, longsleeve shirt and a knit hat???????
As I said, it's a nice 90 degree evening????? When the hell did you take those pictures?????? They should at least be posted in the same season that they're caught!!!! Half those steelhead have already returned to the middle of the ocean by now for God's sake!!!! Their children will be spawning soon! this is gonna cost you a good beer in Truckee.
not a prob bob. one beer on me. ya it always happens that way, it takes a while for me to post pics because i am to cheap to by a digital camera so i just buy disposable. oh well. maybe some time soon i will get one.

Nice Brian--Really nice! Lots of good looking fish over the last few months. Someone said awhile back that you're dialed in on Putah....Seeing this pictures, that might be an understatement! Great job and thanks for sharing.
