Family oriented resorts/facilities for summer vacations in the Sierra's

My family is looking for locations for up to 20 people to spend a week together each summer. House keeping cabins on a lake preferred, but nearby access to water OK. Units sleeping 4-5 each optimal. Within 150 miles of Sacramento best. Any suggestions are most appreciated.

a couple that come to mind:

The Lure Resort or Shangri-La in Downieville.  Both are right on the North Fork of the Yuba, have cabins that are primo, but not cheap.  It might be tough to get 20-25 in there at one time as they get heavily booked in the summer.

Up the road is the Gold Lakes area off HWY 89.  Beatiful lake(s) up there and a couple of places with cabins and a good restaurant also.

The Feather River Resort on the Middle Fork feather is a very nice place as well.  However, with all of the fire activity up there right now, including the closure of HWY 70 between Quincy and Graeagle, this may not be the year for that.

My suggestion would be the town of Mt Shasta and the campground at Lake Siskiyou. The area has a nice campground on the lake and you can rent houses in town for a good price. There is a golf course right there and it has access to the Mc Cloud and the upper Sac. You can rent houseboats on the lake. There is something for everyone.

Check out Burney Falls.  They have a few small cabins in their campground.  It's really close to the falls and just up the road from Lake Britton.  It's a little more than 150 miles from Sacramento, though.

Haven't stayed there but I've heard about it, check out Pine Mountain Lake:

http://www.pinemountainlake.com/

It's a gated community on a small lake with swimming, golf, fishing, and stuff.

I would look into Black Butte Ranch up in central Oregon near Bend. My mom's side of the family has been going there for over 15 years now for a family reunion every summer. There is great fishing near there. If you haven't heard of the metolious river, it is an amazing fishery that has beautiful wild fish in it and it is near the deschutes river, crane prairie lake and many other little streams, rivers and lakes. It is an amazing place for a large amount of people because there is so much to do. To name a few, golf, fish at the lodge lake that actually is fly fishing only and has some great hatches, great bike rides, and amazing views and weather during the summer. My mom's side of the family has over 30 people, so we rent out a few houses and each night a family cooks dinner for everyone. This place is an amazing family oriented resort and I look forward to it every summer. I know it is farther than 150 miles, but damn is it worth it. Look into it.

The metolious is my favorite fishery. It is a spring fed creek that runs the same temperature and flow all year round. You can even walk right up to the spring! It is an amazing fishery with rainbow trout, bull trout and even a run of sockeye in the fall. The lake at the lodge is also a great fishery. It is regular to go there and catch 5 fish over 18 inches in a night. When the wind settles down the dry fly hatches are amazing! Black Butte is a definite must for an outdoor family like conefish's and mine.

Lakes Basin is a fun place. Iv'e fished salmon lake multiple times with great success and there are many other lakes and streams in the area.
