Been on a few different waters over the last few months...yuba has been fishing well for me.Iam still moving around a lot trying to find pods of fish.Once I find them it's worth all the work.I have not changed my set up in 3 months. The same combo of bugs are still looking yummy to those bionic trout.I have yet to fish the 20 bridge cause the rest of you are all up there...If you know where the island is you will find a lot of fish and it will be worth the hike.WHO THE HELL PUT A NOTHER CAR (white jeep wrangler) in the river last wed.I think zz top has one of those.

spring run steelhead on the feather is just about over. Most days I had a dozen steelhead with 2 or 3 adults mixed in.I did not land very many of the wild adults..Those fish take off like a bullet shot out of a gun...On the feather it all about the perfect leader set up and just the right flys.

Did a good number of days on the lower sac..Spent most of the time on the lower section of the river. We would have 30 to 50 fish boated a day. Each trip out we would hook a few very very late run steelhead.I think the summer on the sac is going to be just as good as the spring...

man sounds like you have been having a blast. i have been doing the same. not as much as you but i have been gettin out more often. did the lil truckee for the first time, and i had a great time and hooked some really nice fish. one that i wont forget, because i just freshly tied up a new 3x leader with a nice crystal flash olive woolly bugger and my first cast as soon as it dropped in the water i got hammered, and this fish broke my 3x tippet, this fish was a hog, made me remember a few good size steelhead and big hogs on putah, the head shakes from this fish were indiscribable. any who, i need to get out more and maybe ill will post a few about them as well.

as far as the white jeep, yes i have one, but that wasnt me, ill try and cross some small stuff, maybe the AR in the right spot, which i have done, but i will not ever try and cross the yuba. what a dumb ars.

nice job mx19

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
