Yes, Captain, that was my first trip to the Yuba.  I just found out that it's way too close not to fish it more often.

SK60, not sure if you are referring to my post, but the trout I caught on Hat did not look like the tiger trout. I wish I had had a camera with me that day, which I 80% of the time do. The trout was more like a rainbow with the red spots of a brown, but I have to be honest my memory is most likely playing tricks on me. It was a good size trout and I remember being absolutely stunt, looking at it trying to figure out what type of trout it was. It wasn't till later that I found out about hybrids and came to the conclusion that it must have been a freak of nature or some transplant.

side note, since back then I have not caught any brown trout on Hat, it used to be such a great dry fly fishery smile.gif
