That fish hasn't missed too many meals.  Those pictures with the snow are awesome.  It reminds me of fishing in Utah.

Dpt looks like a stone in the mouth. I am going up to Soda Springs next weekend and was thinking of hitting the Truckie. How much action was there? Any tips? I had a tip from a friend about fishing in cold weather. He said to spray you rod with silicone spray and it keeps the rod guides dry which keeps them from frezing up. Anybody ever try that?

Malakai is actually a male dog (I won't tell him you said that biggrin ) He's runnin 86 lbs now, but doesn't look it. Only when you go to pick him up do you notice the muscle weight. I do have another dog that is female, darker brown, and she's maybe 45 lbs. I don't think I have posted pics of her, though...and I don't bring her fishing with me...

I used a 5wt WT yesterday. But I could have gotten the fish in easily with a 3wt, the water is cold and it didn't really fight that hard...

LOL. Malakai is Hawaiian for "Garden (or growth) of the Sea".

You're thinking Malachi, also the last chapter of the Old testament.
