Fished Gualala without luck today from 10am until 3pm. No takers. The water is greenish and maybe alittle too colorful. It should be great by the weekend color wish anyway.
Fished Rockpile creek and several other riffs below there.
May try drifting from the forks in the next week or two. (NO fishing allowed from boats . . . we plan on stopping to fish holes on the way.

I love the Gualala. I fished it with a friend Jan. 1. Walked in about 3miles or so, then waded and fished it back. Water at that time was low and very clear. Not a lot of fish, but they were there. I didn't get anything either...my friend landed one and hooked a second. It is a beautiful place to fish.
