well grandpa bob nice to meet you...when i was out yesterday with a few of the guys... i said crap im the oldest one there....i felt like a grandpa...what em i talking about i am...olllll welll
I'm also 61. Will be 62 in April. You young guys may have better mobility, but we older guys make up for that by being stream savvy. At least I keep telling myself that.
29 years old. I wonder what it's going to be like at 50? Will I just be whackin fish because of the experience like you say. I hope. One thing for sure is that will be when I graduate into lake fishing. Once I'm old and tired of falling in the creek my lake instincts will take over. I've thought about it already. I'll have enough money for a boat by then, it all works out.
You're ALL funny! I'm 44. It's feels odd. I can still remember what it, it being almost anything to do with sports, felt like 20 years ago to do some stuff. For the first time this year, I can really feel the need to slow down a bit, purely for self-preservation.

I cant wait till im 51, Cuz thats when i'm retiriing !!!!!!!! Then its off to some other state to live, Probably oregon and fishin everyday ! I'm 34 now. Hey I've seen some older guys that can move like a 20 year old on the creek.
damn cappy 34, your gettin old. haha just playin. some days on the water i feel like i am going on 50, especially at the end of the day. i remember my second day out on the AR i walked up and down that river all day, wading through 1300 flows, almost lossing it next to a deep ledge, ya not to smart of me, but i ended up hooking a half pounder, so kinda made it worth the wade. but anyways got home and went straight to bed. the next day i could barely walk. knees failing, felt like someone took a baseball bat to them, my back was all jacked up, my casting should couldnt move. i smelt like icie hot all day. the customers loved it. there was a few times i tried joggin, ya didnt happen i either fell to my knees or just sat in the chair where i was at. i didnt move much that day. but know that i am moving around more the body doesnt feel as abused, but somedays it does. i thinks its about that time to get knee surgery. i was supposed to get it done when i was in the military at the age of 21, but i was a young punk then, and thought i didnt need it. well i was way wrong. i think if i do get them done, it will be towards the hot summer months, not in the fall or spring.
