Blame it on the rain, and cabin fever. Interesting responses to the Walnut Creek thread ... any wisdom out amongst ya'll regarding Mitchell Creek in Clayton, Mt Diablo State Park?
I've read some stuff about a one time population of Wild and yes, Native rainbow there. Supposedly, the last survivors died off back in the mid 90's during a dry year. Lots of culprits, mining, non native plant life and so on.
Any body heard any different? Was it ever fishable? Stories? Would love to know.
We need the rain, so I won't complain ... I'm just gonna have to drive a little farther to fish.
Thanks.
