Im diggin all the bugs guys.  Chris, the two bugs you have posted in the last while have been impressive.  Anyone tying Mercer's trigger caddis?  I got really into those last summer.  It's basically an improved Z-wing.  It outfished the Fox poopah a couple times which is no easy task.

Not yet Brian.  I just got another camera after not having one for 6-7 months.  Got a new elph so it's time to sit down and shoot some more pics of bugs.  Digital cams don't like water apparently.  I gave Captain one of those bugs awhile back.  Mercer is the man, some of these new guys coming up have some good bugs but got nothin on that guy as far as I am concerned.  Check out the Idylwilde.com website.  Morrish, Hogan Brown yadayadayada.......

what would be off the hook is you gettin off of work and fishing the AR with your old fishing buddy. shoot me a pm and let me know when you can make it. but more than likely if you come this way we would be fishing the yuba? huh?

Thanks for the compliments on the fly. That fly hasn't caught any steelies yet this year, mine have all come on egg patterns. Maybe one day a steelhead will be stupid enough to eat my fly.
