wow, i knew that was coming, wow, well i would normally comeback to that with some negotive defensive statement, but ill be the bigger man here, and will not retaliate back.
but i do have a question, because i have only be serious about fly fishing for 10 months that makes me unworthy to post on here. that doesnt make anysense. i am not talkin smack, i dont talk a big game, i have came a long way since i first started fly fishing and yes i post about it. thats it. i fish with some great people and have learned and soaked in more material in 5 months fishing putah than most do in 1yr. i have my bad days on putah and my great days. and i know i have a long way to go and i dont deny that, i have posted that several times, so before you judge me fish with me, then make your decision after a full day on that water with me. you cant judge a book by its cover. i may come off one way on this site, but its all in how you read it, when it comes to fly fishing, i am all about helping other people, i have my stories that i tell yes, but all in all, i am there to help, i have had a lot of knowledge past down to me by several of the senior members of this forum, and i feel that i should do the same.
one more thing that i would like to add is that i have never once said anything negotive to anyone on this site. cant someone post about there day and have people post psoitive replies to it.
DAMN
there is always someone that has to ruin it for all of us.
LET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE.

There have been several posts that have been very negative lately. Personally I have decided that this is not good, and really have just been laughing at some of the posts. Flyfishing is all about having fun and relaxing. I remember back when I first started fly fishing and I talked to and asked people lots of questions, in fact I still do. Putah is a tough creek to crack. Keep it positive!!! As far as the bass they are in the slow water. JT and I have seen them. I have also seen them by the gauging station, but have never caught one. My theory is that they are flushed down the glory hole, or are released by the bass fishermen at the campground.
thanks otter, its all about positive feedback. hey is it true a steelie or salmon at the dry creek with you and emerger.

We all have plenty to learn, when you feel there is no more to learn about this great sport then its time to hang up the waders for good. 2 years of pretty serious effort on my part and I feel like i am just now starting to break the surface.
Hey Brian, don't let it bother you. I think some people get jealous when you've only been fly fishing for 10 months and already know how to lay the hammer down. Like me, I've only been fly fishing for a year and I've had my share of great days, and also crappie ones. More great than crappie though. Like last week. I only fished for about 3 and a half hours, but I hooked 10 fish all 18 inches and up, all big non spawners. Not to brag or anything, but I think I'll give myself a pat on the back.
