just wondering how is the fishing when its raining at putah, is it harder easier, i know the fish cant spot you or your indicator as well. looks like there is a 60% chance of rain on friday, so eric and annie if you are gonna go bring your rain jackets, and ill be in my military gortex, but wait then you might not be able to see me, hummm thats a good idea. just playin. but anyways what should i know and do when it comes to some drizzle on putah. can i use my normal go to fly dropper set up which consist of #18 bwo nymph and a #22 black drowned midge or do i need to do something different.
thanks guys

I've asked that question a couple of weeks ago, and they told me some of their best days have been in the rain. And they were right, I caught like 20 that day.
looks like bring the rain gear and cameras, hopefully itll be another pig heavenly day. we will try the spot that we talked about last week that we didnt go to, then move up to the spot that we did fish, then back to the piggy hole.
oh ya

Drizzly days can be awesome. It is a lot easier to sneak up on fish. There is also a really good chance of a bwo hatch during these conditions. Man, I wish could go to the creek right now. It looks perfect right now with those clouds rolling over.

I was thinking that same thing looking up at the clouds as I was walking to class today. Man since we're all tied up someone is probably out there catching all the trout! Chuck

The cold rainy days are great to fish in plus all the fair weather folks stay at home and let us slam the fish. Seems to be a little less pressure on those days.
Hey mx what time did you fish yesterday, I fished from 5:45-dark. Only saw a few cars up near the bridge and one below that.
