I have attended these for the past few years and it's a great chance to meet people you only know from the board and to do something for the creek we all enjoy fishing. The date is usually a month earlier, but waiting until the regular fishing season ends seems like a good idea.

It might be nice if we could arrange to have the board members get together that day and put faces to names.  I have met a number of the regular posters on the creek and fished with a few of you, but there are many I haven't met yet.

I'm in! My poor over worked, type "A" soul needs to redeem itself. Soccer and "honey-do's" can wait til Monday! Besides, I'll clean a little for an excuse to meet all the clowns who are catching all the fish!

hey just a thought to you bono, this would be a good opportunity to do the gathering of the troops on this forum that everyone was so excited about. and i think its on a saturday which works for almost everyone. i will try my hardest to talk to my boss and get it off. he is pretty cool about this stuff so cant see why he wont.

again just my 2 cents about the clean up day,
i know deaddrift started this thread and a bunch of people really like the idea of everyone from this forum gettin together. even think chemdoc talked about doing it on a day with the annual clean up.

i think it would be a great idea, and being that its a saturday. if you read that thread it works for 99% of the fishers on this sit.

so everybody what do you think.

good idea ya or na

I will definitely be there. I am also a member of the Napa Valley Fly Fishers...good group of people and the guys at Sweeney's are the best. In fact Sweeney's usually donates many of the raffle prizes. I am also looking forward to matching some names to faces...I feel like we are one big happy family who just haven't met each other yet.
