i wouldnt mind hittin up some browns, but aint to many places that close to hit them up. do you know of anyplace.

i wish the trinity wasnt that far. it was 3 hours. we could hit that up on christmas eve. thats if its semi close. but i think its like 4 hrs to trinity center ca which is the east fork of the trinity.

Iam going to pre guide the yuba on the 5th of january...If the yuba fishes well then I will head back the next day....yuba starts picking up in feb and fishes well till april....might find one adult steelie out of every 4 or 5 visits during this time..not a big steelhead water around the 20 bridge...on a good note the trout are huge and fight and look like shiny steelies....pound for pound the strongest most pissed off trout Ive ever seen...on my last visit I had 11 fish over 20" and a nother dozen no smaller than 17"..yes I caught some dinky one's too, but we dont need to mention them ...

me and cappy know exactly how those trout fight, and yes pound for pound the SH-T, he landed one, dont remember the size, then i came over within 5 cast i got one that took off like it had a jet pack on, i never felt anything like it. needless to say i didnt get him in, but definitly over 20"s.

hey mx19, all is good bro, me and cappy are thinkin putah on the 24th if you wanna join, i think we will wait a few for yuba. if you are gonna do a pre guide. we might just wait till after that.

hit me back and let me know if you are down for the 24th

Hey just chimed in. Did you guys make the trip yet? I see that it is now open above the bridge. Wondering how you did? If you have made it there yet. I am thinking about it. It is about a hour for me from Vacaville.
