dont know exactly where ill be yet, bet i know of a few dirt roads that i am gonna try up that way, ill do this for ya, these 2 spots that i have never fished if they are good ill let you know, i have been looking on mapquest all day zoomed in on these spots to figure how far to drive and everything so i got it down pretty well. first spot is closer to markleeville, where both creek and river meet, but down stream more, the other is way way out there off of 89, where 89 and 4 spit, 89 goes to the left and 4 goes south, i normally fish from wolf creek road down, with good luck, 10-14 inchers, but ill send you a pm to let you know how it goes

I believe you guys are refering to Hangman's bridge. Towards Nevada is the wild trout sanctuary and to the west is stocked. There are roads that access the wild trout sanctuary on both the north and south sides. You need a rugged 4x4 to get there, but there is a good payoff if you are willing to be adventurous...
pm me if you want details.
I'll be there the weekend of Oct. 7th to make a last hurrah for the year. I love that area...

Man, I would love to go. I even have a house that we can stay at, but my schedule and kids tells me its not possible. I hope you have a great time and be careful of the lightning. Those graphite rods are a Lee Trevino waiting to happen, so be careful...
