hey everyone...got up to the creek sat and sunday.played the role of the putah creek tour guide. Both days of fishing were pretty good.fished all the normal flys ,crawled through some bushes, hung some jewlery in the trees and tested the limits of my tippet.I did very little fishing my self ,but I hooked a few..most important my guest's for the day all got into some fish... Im not a guide by any means, but I do my best to pass on what skills Ive learned..I know some of you got skills .I have seen you in action.there seems to be a lot of new members looking to meet up with some of you old pros.So I say leave you fly rod in the car and meet up with someone new and show them the ropes.I wish I had a someone to lean on when i was a rookie. Its like a team effort , your doing the fishing together ..just my thoughts for the week.
to the 3 people I drug around the creek this weekend, I just want to say thank you for letting me be you tour guide
well coming from a newbie / rookie thank you. us newbies do need some help out there sometime, i myself know i need help, i dont like sayin it, due to me fishing and learning on my own, but when it comes to fly fishing, it a completely different world. but again thank you for your time with those 3 that you helped out.
as far as me, ill be on the creek tomorrow, from sunup to say about 2 ish or so, no set time for me, but if anyone that has some know how and would like to help a rook out, please email me and let me know.
