Was curious if anyone has fished the north fork moklumne river above lake alpine off hwy. 4, I plan to spend 4 days up there in 2 weeks and cant seem to find much info.I'm gonna stay at hermit valley campground. I drove through there coming back from the east walker river a few months ago and it looked like a pretty nice place. I also notice on my map, grouse creek, silver creek, and mosquito lakes. Only thing i know for sure is its a free campground, and its dispersed camping with no water and no toilets, Roughing it just the way it should be . Thanx for any info that anyone can give.
