So there I was brushing my cat and I cleaned off the brush. While looking at the fine hair I pulled out of the brush I had I thought I could use is as dubbing. Has any one tried it?
Apparently you can use cat hair. I have thought about it many times as I pick hair off my new couch. I saw this dude on the fly tiers index website that has 6 or 7 cats lined up in front of him that he owns and he has quite a few flies he uses the hair for. However the day I go out and get skunked on a cat hair caddis would be it for me. A fish simply wont eat something that smells like its arch enemy. It's bad karma man, bad stuff indeed.
