I WANT TO GO FISHING!

It's been at least a month since I have been out fishing, and that last time I was a bit miserable,  It was cold and my hand hurt.  I had surgery on my hand on 2/21.  Was it worth it?  I guess time will tell.  But I am going stir crazy.
I have been casting left handed which is actually going really well, however I can not get my cast wet, so I need to devise a whole hand/arm cover should I actually land a fish. I am trying to be optomistic that I will actually hook into one.  I have been intrigued by some great posts here.  This is a great website and you guy's are some cool cat's I hope to meet on the creek one day.  I'll be the one in the cast, for at least 4-5 months

Just needed to get that off my chest.

Cast = cast on arm...Casting = casting my fly rod

Hang in there,  I've just recently have temporary custody of grandkids 18mo., 3 yr. and 6 yr.  Working with the kids is keeping me off the water.  Yes, the kids are the most important but I sure would like to be out fishing on the weekends!
