It was a nice day on the creek on Tuesday, the weather was perfect but the fishing was slow. Not much action on the creek, but over all it was just nice to be outside. I got one fish that day, and missed 3 hook ups. I found a perfect little spot to pitch a dry fly to a nice rising trout, with a help of a good friend's eyes spoting the fish while I was casting, this was my reward.
this fish took a size 18 BWO, with the first cast! Usialy I only get 10 - 16 inch fish off of dry flies but this nice 21 incher was a great fish! A little skinney but still a great fish to catch off a dry.
It's good to see that somebody made it out. I was looking at the weather, wishing I could be out there. I've noticed that some of the fish are pretty skinny after the spawn. Others are already fattening back up, though. The last few times I was on the creek, most of the fish landed were getting their fight back, too.

Theres been some decent dry fly action the last few weeks, the flows are finally into the 80's for the first time in what seems like forever, hopefully they stay this way for the weekend.
